William Corrie (ref. 1.1.3.) bought the estate in 1779. "Father John" (ref. 1.1.5.) lived in it until his
death in 1828. Photo shows Thomas Corrie (ref. 1.1.6.3.5.6.) and his daughter Maybelle, taken circa 1926
and sent to Wallace Beals in 1928. (A letter from Thomas to Wallace Beals about South Park is in the
appendix.) As far as we know, all three of the Corrie brothers who came to America lived in this house at
