5.6.3.1. Helen Roxane Beals, born 19 Apr 1898 earned her masters degree from Columbia University, she was a dietician in schools for several years in Hartford, CN, then moved to Stanford University in CA where she supervised the food service. Helen traveled to the historical family home at South Park, Scotland in 1926. She never married; died in California 28 May 1992. 5.6.3.2. John Tyler Beals, born 19 Nov 1906; attended Purdue University in Layfayette, IN where he studied civil engineering and worked with H H Robinson steel fabricating business in California, Chicago and Pittsburg, PA; married first in 1936 to Genevive Snow, divorced; married secondly to Marjory Brown on Easter 1964, she had two children, a daughter, Susan Brown Phelps and a son, Robert Brown who lives in New Zealand, Marjory died in Jun 1989; John died 25 May 1991; John and Genevive had two sons (1) John Snow (Jack), (2) Richard Corrie (Rick). 5.6.3.2.1. John Snow (Jack) Beals, born 6 Feb 1938; attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN where he was interested in studying Agricultural Engineering; he was killed 29 Jun 1957 in an auto accident in Lafayette at the conclusion of his freshman year. 5.6.3.2.2. Richard Corrie (Rick) Beals, born 17 Dec 1944 in Glencoe, IL; he majored in business at Northern Arizona University at Flagstaff. AZ and worked as a sales representative for the United States Gypsum Company in Los Angeles; continued as a business company's manufacturers agent dealing in building materials. Rick carefully saved his grandfather Wallace Beal's extensive genealogy records and photographs and generously shared them with Evelyn Birkby for this research. He has the old cherry chest that John Corrie (ref. 1.1.5.4.) bought in Philadelphia in 1820 and carried by covered wagon and river boat down to Illinois; Rick also has the wooden portable writing desk and Bible which John brought from Scotland when he left in 1819; Also the wedding dress of his great great great grandmother Margaret Thompson Corrie. Rick's address is 5555 # ####### ######, ######, ##. 55555. 5.6.4. Mary Agnes (Agnes) Beals, born 13 Jun 1870; died 13 Apr 1943, buried in Pasadena, CA. 5.6.5. Frances Ellen Beals, born 18 Jun 1872; died Jan 1894 aged 21. 5.7. MARY ELLEN, born 6 Jun 1841 in Rushville; died 1918 aged 77; married 25 Jan 1862 to Charles Collins, died 25 Jan 1912 and was buried the day they were to celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary; children,
