5.1.1.3.5.1.3. Tamar Thomason, born 27 Oct 1976, attends High School at Window Rock, AZ.
5.1.1.3.6. Lois Carol Crum, born 20 Dec 1921 (when her mother was 44 and her father was 49), the youngest of the
six children of Edgar and Essie Crum; attended Burton Country School about a mile north of the farm;
Lois played basketball because the team allowed the tall girls to play with the boys when they competed
against the other country schools. Lois attended the three year high school at Lancaster and then went
to Mt., Carmel for her senior year, graduating in 1938. She attended University of Illinois at
Champaign-Urbana where she met Albert Dale (Al) Bohlen in rhetoric class during their freshmen year, he
was born 16 Nov 1921 in Litchfield, IL; Al joined the U.S. Navy the day after Pearl Harbor and became
a pilot flying torpedo bombers off aircraft carriers; when he returned from the war, Al and Lois were
married 30 Apr 1945 at Quonset Naval Air Base, Providence, RI; they lived on and moved to numerous
Naval air bases, the last one being at Brunswick MN where Al was a test pilot. After his release from
the navy, they moved to Champaign, IL where he finished school at the University of Illinois with a
degree in Agricultural Engineering. Al became an independent insurance agent and Lois was involved in
school, church and other communtiy activities. Al died of a sudden heart attack 13 Oct 1973; Lois
continues to live in Mattoon and is active in many church and community groups and enjoys travel;
children, (
1) Mary Kathleen (Kitty), (
2) Georgia Ann, (
3) Elaine Dale, (
4) Mindy Lisa.
5.1.1.3.6.1. Mary Kathleen (Kitty) Bohlen, born 21 Dec 1945; graduated from the University of Illinois in 1967;
married 26 Jan 1969 in New Orleans, LA to Phillip Clesi who was born in New Orleans 26 Oct 1945;
son, (
1) Phillip Cameron.
5.1.1.3.6.1.1. Phillip Cameron Clesi, born 23 Jul 1973; now in the U. S. Army.
5.1.1.3.6.2. Georgia Ann Bohlen, born 24 Jul 1948; graduated from the University of Illinois in 1970, earned her
master's degree in Jun 1973 from Eastern Illinois University; married 22 Sep 1973 in Mattoon, IL to
Harold Ryan who was born in 1951; children, (
1) Jeremy, (
2) Christopher, (
3) Patrick,

4) Carol Anne.
