Fairfield, IA and did graduate studies at the University of Southern California. Before World War Two
he coached sports in Shenandoah, IA and at Boone, IA High schools. He served in the Second World War
and then bought a shoe store in Pocahantas, IA. Joy attended Iowa State College and graduated from
William Penn College in Oskaloosa. After marriage Wayne and Joy ran a family shoe store in Pella, IA.

was involved with AWAC's airplanes most of his career. Spent three years with NATO headquartered in
Belgium; retired in 1991 as a full Colonel and became a counselor in admissions department at Rose
College in Midwest City, OK; married to Sandra Vack, born in 1943 of Kalamazoo, Michigan she is a
teacher in Midwest City; they live at 555 #. ######### #####, ####### ####, ## 55555; children,
