a circus of 13 churches known as the Sumner Circut; he organized the Methodist Episcopal church in St.
Francisville and served Bethel, his home church for many years and helped restore the church a few years
before his death; he was blind at least part of his life and became known as "the blind preacher" Glen Corrie
(ref.
1.1.5.1.5.2.4.4.) wrote Wallace Beals, "I well remember the blind preacher Aaron Schrader, I sat in the
Bethel church and listened to him preach many times. Young as I was I never got tired of listening to him
