When I was 11, a friend and I were jumping out of the second floor window of a
house and grabbing a nearby tree branch to slow our fall. When it was my turn,
the wind blew the branch out of reach as I was grabbing for it. I landed on my
head and was knocked out for a few minutes. While I was lying unconscious on the
ground, my friend said my eyes were wide open. I awoke and everything was black,
but then there were two points of light rapidly expanding into full vision, and
sounds were coming in as well. I had the worst headache of my life which lasted
for almost a week.
Shocking!
